Wow.... so I left the states only to see an Oscar go to a rap group being awarded for singing a song about pimpin women and I've had numerous debates about this issue already and my feeling about it is very clear the corporations promoting this crap and the idiots who are puppeted by them are all helping the country go straight into hell.. regardless of the fact that this pimpin lifestyle is real life for some men around the world, it still doesn't help to award a song like that at time when people are living without regard to true value of life and respect towards each other.
I wasn't going to write anything as I am consummed with work but I have to now as I am seething angry after receiving word about this rapper Bubba Sparx's. An untalented fat ass gets his media and Virgin record conglomerates to be a part of and back this porno based web site advertising all types of girls and women's ass to promote his corny song Ms. new Booty.... It's all good to have a song to dance to, I am not mad at that aspect.. art is art and everyone has the right to express themselves, their desire, their hardship, or life through it, but when we start pushing it, forcing it, down peoples throats as "cool" there's a problem especially when it is corporations who are ensuring that the wrong messages are being sent out to mainstream society because it keep them in business.
This is all one big circle of "I don't give a fuck about society or your kids." The people making sure these songs and acts are famous are the very people paying Payola dollars and advertising dollars to keep profit stream rolling in from people who can't seem to open their eyes and look through the veil.
It's only a matter of time before everything I am researching about sex trafficking lands right at your door steps with your own kids, daughters and sons being kidnapped, raped, and pimped because of this trivial mentality towards women and sexuality in itself.
I'm a man who loves T & A but the music and ads aren't even classy anymore; its just stupid raunchy shit. Classless, low brow- try to grab your attention- without being creative bullshit! Corporate America will stoop to all lows to make money and they will have no problem using idiot pawn-puppet entertainers to promote this negative irresponsible behavior. They so love to use entertainers as we are the bunch who have the limelight and audiences. They so love to use "ghetto" ass rappers and "simple-minded" singers to perpetuate these images as they lust for money in the today and don't think about the trail of negativity for a society of tomorrow.
Disagree all you want but the level of disrespect towards women has dwindled to an all time high. To the adults reading this we may all be out of school, but I can GUARANTEE I know exactly what is happening in school grades 4 and up between young girls and boys especially those who are not being guided to truly understand the value of life and themself, which are many.. Take some time talking to school tecahers and listen to the stories of 3rd grade kids having sex in closets, of girls being sexually abused and almost raped in schools nationwide in just about every grade level.
If we don't start analyzing what we are contributing to by being too caught up in our own little bubbles we will have alot of HARD HARD work to try and reconcile this problem. Right now I am working on this documentary about sex trafficking in the United States and every official person interviewed says that this crime of sex trafficking, sex tourism, child exploitation all of it stems from ABUSE and here it is we are living in a time where we in the entertainment industry are being used to spread the very seed that promotes this abuse from happening.
It is so simple.. give a little boy a tv and a music video where a women has a credit card swiped in between her ass cheeks a la Nelly's Tip Drill Music video and then keep feeding him those images with no guidance and bam you have someone who sees women the same way a trafficker sees them...this is so obvious and true. At the same time you can condition a young girl the same way. It's easy to teach her the only way she is worth something in this new media based society is when she's willing to show her ass, her tits, or be focused on herself in the most external way possible. Of course if she does this then she can get all the "things" she needs. This is the fault of every celebrity willing to sell out the society for some money when corporate america says bitch jump and they jump and bark like a good little dog.
I often wonder if these femal celebrities are so fucking shallow that they can't realize what dangerous situations and social limitations they create for the future young women of the world, by offering them the visual advice they do, in songs, television programs and magazines.
Yea, these artist or groups may have success and be "blessed" with good fortune but the damage that is happening now is far greater than the little moments they have in the hood. Yea 3-6 mafia gave to little children in the hood a chance to hold an Oscar but for what purpose did they have that oscar to begin with. Just as much as that child can go home empowered by touching something they may never have dreamed of the message still remains that this group received it by creating a song about pimping women.
Media has lost its fucking mind! The after shock for what we're allowing will be truly to tremendous to even grapple with if we don't start looking from the oustide in.
I saw this same phenoma happening when I was growing up. First it was corporate controlled gangster rap, and I watched how me and every kid in the hood become very violent (which this violence later trickled to surburban white america then suddenly everyone tried to stop it- but the corporate germ which was only supposed to spread violence in inner-city neighborhoods couldn't be stopped from spreading externally) and started acting differently.. talking differently. I started to see friends of mine getting stabbed from the scalp to their necks. Watched friends put hammers in other kids Skulls and I also watched how I became a part of it even with good parenting and great mentors around me, because I was still an impressionable child as all kids are and thank god for those parents and mentors because through their initial guidance in my life I was able to recoil myself back into the foundation of what and who I really was. In those years I witnessed myself being a part of the "hype" degrading women, feeling less inclined to respect them and watching the young girls giving me more and more reason to do so as they started to have less respect for themselves and us as boys as well.
You all have no idea the shit that I have seen men do to women in night clubs as I worked as a bouncer. You have no idea the shit that I see women allow to happen. For all those people that say media doesn't influence this behaviour you are so wrong. Children follow everything that people do on tv, from the way celebrities dress, talk, and act. Moreover kids are so impressionable that's amajor reason to why there are millions of them being trafficked and exploited around the world right now for sex! They believe the hype of America, the hype of money's value over their own, and the loving words of a pimp, trafficker.
I have been a bouncer and seen women in nightclubs get bottles thrown at them by guys when they say no they don't want to dance. I have seen women, smacked, grabbbed, pulled, and groped in nightclubs, as they walk. This kind of shit never happened before, not like this. Not to this degree of disrespect.
For all the women that bitch about being single and alone now, imagine what the world will like be for your daughters dating if you keep allowing this bullshit behaviour to exist... seriously, Who is teaching chilvary? The absentee father? The overworked single mother? The underpaid over worked school teacher? The money lustful rapper? Or the hell on a high horse corporations? What will any boy growing up in this world think about women when he is devoid of anyone to teach him better?
I may have taken part in being a player growing up but never ever did i step into it with such cruel intentions- it was through a young mindset of fullfilling my ego which I still had no control over, which I would dare to say was a part of my maturation as I grew up bombarded with visuals and peer based experiences that made me think that the more girls I had the cooler I was (took me years to get that crap out of my head) today this is not ego gratification- this is all part of a big bubble of materilism, sexism, and all out loss of moral.
We all think it's cute listening to little kids sing these songs thinking they don't understand, but they understand everything. The energy behind this music, these websites, these visual representations of man and woman's behaviour towards each other stick inside their subconscious and unfortunately many of these young kids will not have the proper guidance to teach them true value of each other, themself, and life.
When I was in NY recently I was reminded of what it was like to hear 13 year old girls on the train talk about having guys not lick their pussy as one girl exclaimed to her girlfriend with an attitude as if this was their regular conversation throughout the week on the train. I remember distinctly as she gave me and the other passengers a look as we looked up at her as if she was talking about nothing insignificant. This was all over New York and it's all over the country... the world.. and the stem of it is our country.. our media.. our sensationalism. Lttle girls right now in the US, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America, everywhere is trying to look like some female singer in the US, listening, watching, and being everything that they see on MTV. So many little boys are growing up doing the same, and learning how to be less loving, towards themselves, life and women through everything that we allow to come out of our entertainment industry.
So many Americans are worked and sucked dry then left to live unheallthy lifetsyles so that we don't have the power to see through the veil of crap and fight against what we know is wrong. We are don't get the opportunity to travel to see what the affect is that we have on the world.. it is so enormous and so troubling when you do witness it.. and we don't even see outside of our own little bubble that we exist in to see the kids in our own neighborhoods and how they are reacting to our own spewed germ of materialism, sexism, and lowered life meaning.
I have to say it again- so many women bitch about being single and say that men are shit- I hear this from everytype of woman, well why do you think you're not getting your criteria's met from men nowadays... well why do you think? The generation of men now grew up listening to what? Watching what? Living what? Now just imagine the next generations coming up of girls and boys.. the next ten years what will relationship be like for them? What will disease be like then? What will birth rates be like then? What wil child exploitation and sex trafficking be like then? What will kidnappings and pedophilia be like then? What will abortions be like then? WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Every thing has a cause and an effect, just like so many things, we are providing the most clear obvious return effect that we can start to stop RIGHT NOW by not allowing corpoarte america to bombard us with these images of such negativity!
America stop being so afraid to agree with that inner voice in you when you see something and you know its not right.. I know some of this jusic, some of thgese shows, some ofhis enetertainment is so simple that it's catchy but there is not enough balance to allow this type of media to exist right now. We must get back to a better foundation of healthier programming first. A better start point of guidance for so many lost children and adults. Then these types of music will become more insignificant and less detrimental to society.
The more simple we are, the more surface we become, the easier we are to persuade. the easier it becomes to pass laws that strip us of rights. The more we take pictures of our asses and post them on websites just to appear in some puppet rappers music video, the more we focus on paris Hilton's ever shrinking brain, the more we focus on what celebrity is having their tenth divorce the less inclined we are to see how we as a society are being duped, lied to, and manipulated.
Let's work to stop this exploitation of art to help kill the mental and moral strength of such a strong society. Its so simple stop buying from these corporations. Turn off the radio station when this crap comes on. Boycott. Write letters. Do films. Do music. Do something. Take action against this crap if you see where I am coming from, Even a small step is still a step!
